EdgarKasenene

Edgar Kasenene is the CEO of Retro Rabbit Rest of Africa, with more than 20 years of professional experience in ICT and three years specialising in emerging technologies and innovation across the African continent. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of IoT and Emerging Business for Africa at Ericsson, Head of Cloud and IP Services for Ericsson Africa, and Programme Director for Ericsson’s smart city initiative in Rwanda in 2015.

Edgar has held leadership, strategy, sales, and technical roles at Ericsson in the UK, South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zambia, as well as at MTN. He holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications Engineering with Distinction from the University of Manchester, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Makerere University. He was shortlisted for the Global Brands Magazine award for Best Tech Leader in Johannesburg in 2019.
