Paulo’s passion for software development began at an early age whilst learning how to program using Logo in primary school, much like most children of the 80’s. After completing his Computer Science degree at UKZN, Paulo began his career as a software developer, but soon realised he preferred arguing with people rather than compilers. He transitioned into the Business Analyst role in 2006 and hasn’t looked back since. His experience spans the Transport, Financial Services, Compliance and Entertainment sectors where he has developed a strong focus on strategic thinking and user experience. Paulo has been an active IIBA SA volunteer since 2016 and has helped grow the Durban BA community by organizing several BA Nights and lean coffees. He was also a Track Chair for BA Summit 2017.
