Better known among his peers as ‘DJ’, Malawian born, Zimbabwean raised and South African educated, Dumi Jere is the Managing Partner at Talanta.co, a pan-African management consultancy firm that partners with leaders in business and government to tackle their most critical challenges and capture their most significant opportunities.

Dumi has a long tenure working with governments in Africa, JSE-listed companies, and SMEs, building relationships with customers, partners, and vendors that transcend word of mouth. He is responsible for setting product vision and corporate strategy, business and digital transformation, change management, scaling operations, fiscal management, driving innovation, and overall leadership. He has worked across 18 African countries and has a broad appreciation of the diversity of African cultures.

He was selected as one of the Top 200 Leaders of Tomorrow by the St Gallen Symposium and has guest lectured at Monash University South Africa. Dumi is regularly featured in media such as BBC Africa, CNN, CNBC Africa, Bloomberg, the Economist, Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal, and is co-host of The Weekly Beat podcast by Mansa Media.
