As the track chairs are putting together the programme for the first-ever virtual version of Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa we thought we would introduce you the members of the track chair committee.
The track chairs play a huge role in the overall success of the conference by reviewing all the papers that are submitted and selecting the best to present at the conference. They work closely with the speakers to ensure that the presentations at the conference are relevant and exciting. This year the board of IIBA South African chapter have appointed five-track chairs to tackle the first-ever virtual summit. Read up on and get to know our five-track chairs below;
Bonang Gwampi
Bonang is a Senior Business Analyst at FNB Wealth and Investments. She has experience in the Financial Services and and Multi-Media industries. The core focus on some of the projects she has been worked on, include Digital Sales and Fiduciary Solutions. She has a strong work ethic and is always looking to take on challenges where her knowledge and skills can be put to good use to make a valued contribution.
She is a Prince 2 Practitioner with a BA Associate certification and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws degree with the University of South Africa.
Joe Newbert
Joe Newbert is Managing Director at Business Change Academy, a business analyst training company based in Cape Town, South Africa. A trainer, writer, speaker and business consultant, Joe helps organisations and individuals leverage the benefits of good practices in business analysis to deliver successful business change.
A regular conference speaker both locally and internationally, he has also successfully delivered as part of the IIBA Professional Development Committee responsible for the development of the IIBA Competency Model, as well as actively serving as a Non-Executive Director on the IIBA-SA Strategy Board. His other contributions include the globally acclaimed Inter-View.Report, the creation of the hands-on business consulting toolset Sketchnalysis, and, most recently, Pragnalysis, an online platform providing practical resources for real-world projects.
Inga Davids
Inga is a Business Consultant at Analyze Consulting. She has experience in both corporate and consulting firms which has exposed her to a multitude of projects of varying complexity and scope. She is always looking at the bigger picture, continuously learning, and engaging with a variety of people to hone her skills to be a better consultant. She draws energy from stepping outside of her comfort zone, determined and focused to learn from new opportunities.
She holds a MSc Management Degree from Brunel University London and a BCom IS Honours Degree from the University of Cape Town. She is an active member in the business analyst community, has spoken at national and international conferences, and currently volunteers for the Johannesburg IIBASA chapter.
Pulana Ngwasheng
Pulana is an experienced Senior Manager Business Analysis with a demonstrated history of working in both the public and private sector. Highly skilled in Business Process, Management, Business Requirements, Project Delivery, and Change Management. Pulana is a strong research professional with a Bachelor of Commerce – B. Comm focused in Informatics and a Maters in Information Technology from University of Pretoria.
She possesses exceptional interpersonal, communication and analysis skills. A very energetic, purpose driven, confident, and amiable, the type of person whom you can rely on. She has a demonstrated ability to work collegially with leaders across business units and lines of business. She is passionate about translating business strategy into implementable solutions that solve real customer problems.
Bryden Neville
Bryden studied accounting and information systems at Rhodes University. Having worked in London and Sydney for large Financial Corporates and boutique investment management firms, he now works for the FinTech company, Zapper.
Bryden believes in a collaborative working environment to facilitate the true understanding of the business need. Never afraid to try anything new, Bryden is always looking for different ways of interacting with stakeholders to help them maximise the value from their projects.
With a passion for analysis and data, combined with a keen interest in city regeneration and social justice, Bryden serves on the board of directors for Open Cities Lab.
