Taariq is a Business Analyst Competency Lead at Ecentric Payment Systems, where he develops Business Analysts and delivers on key projects. He is also a Senior Business Analysis Lecturer at the Faculty Training Institute (FTI). With over 15 years of experience performing Business Analysis and leading teams of BAs, he has worked across various companies, domains, and industries in consulting, contracting, and permanent capacities. He has also held roles as lead tester, developer, and project manager.

Taariq holds a BCom Honours in Information Systems and a BSc in Business Computing, both from the University of Cape Town (UCT). He also holds a BA diploma through FTI and was part of the first batch of delegates to obtain the SA National Certificate in Business Analysis. He seeks to continually apply his skillset to deliver innovative solutions and provide leadership in the Business Analysis field.
