About the 2024 Conference
The 12th Edition — Durban’s First
The 2024 Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa marked the 12th edition of Southern Africa’s premier BA conference — and a historic first: the Summit came to Durban, KwaZulu-Natal for the very first time, held at the Gateway Hotel in Umhlanga Ridge from 4–6 November 2024.
Under the theme Unleashing the Power of Business Analysis — and the rallying hashtag #IgniteTheSpark — the programme was built around four tracks: Ignite Innovation, Ignite Collaboration, Ignite Talent, and Ignite Transformation. Delegates explored how business analysts can drive innovation, champion transformation, and remain indispensable in an AI-accelerated world.
The conference was organised by IIBA Southern Africa, the official regional chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis.
