Looking back at how far we have come as a profession, we can be forgiven if we were to pat ourselves on the back. It would be understandable if we were to pause and celebrate the tenacity with which we have tackled the challenges we went through. However, can we afford to rest on our laurels and say we have reached the pinnacle of the impact we can have as business analysts? Have we truly cemented our role in the eyes of our stakeholders and expanded our sphere of influence in our environments?
As we celebrate ten years of our highly successful and internationally renowned Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa, we are certain that we are not about surviving. We are about thriving. And to be truly honest with ourselves, we must introspect and look at where business analysis is headed both locally and globally.
We have all heard about the new normal, now we need to carve the next normal. We know that the business analyst role is no longer what it used to be. But do we know what it should be? Do we know what it means to say it is ‘way beyond’ what it used to be? We are at an opportune moment to reshape this role and leapfrog it into the future. It is up to us, as practitioners, to do so, and not anyone else.

We invite you; Thought Leaders and Experienced Professionals to present your ideas at the Business Analysis Summit.
The call for papers is open to anyone with something valuable to share. We call on Business Analysis Practitioners, Change Professionals and any Professional involved in Business Transformation. The Business Analysis Summit comprises four tracks: Acknowledge, Adapt, Align and Accomplish.
This conference will be an in-person conference but we will accept presenters that would like to present remotely. To be considered as a presenter or facilitator, please complete the form below with your details as well as that of your presentation.
