TrevorJoubert

Trevor is a Senior Business Analyst in the ICTS department at the University of Cape Town. He started his career in IT in 1979 as a trainee (green screen) COBOL programmer working for the Nissan motor car manufacturing company in Rosslyn, Pretoria. He subsequently spent four memorable years working for the Mercedes Benz motor car manufacturing company in East London where he met and married his wife Janet in 1988. An 18 month contract in New York City in the USA followed, after which he and Janet circumnavigated the USA in an old Dodge Colt in 60 days, returning to Cape Town in July 1990. He started work in the ICTS department at UCT in August 1990 where he has been ever since. Trevor and Janet have 2 sons.
