Sipho Sepeng is a business analysis professional at IQbusiness, one of South Africa’s leading management consulting firms. At BA Summit 2018, Sipho co-facilitated the pre-conference workshop “Design Thinking for Business Analysis” alongside Tshepo Matjila, the Design Thinking Lead at IQbusiness.

The workshop deconstructed the Design Thinking process using method engineering, overlaying the Business Analysis Knowledge Areas as contained in the BABOK Guide v3. Participants explored what Design Thinking is, whether it is a method or a technique, and how to infuse it into daily Business Analysis processes. The session was part of the pre-conference workshops held on 1 October 2018 at The Hilton, Sandton.
