Jenni Hofmeester started her career as a graduate at Telkom in 2007. Her first title was Test Analyst and thereafter Software Developer — her real passion at the time. This was, of course, until she realized that Business Analysts are the brains behind it all.

In 2013 she got the chance of a lifetime when she was promoted to a Business Analyst in Telkom’s mobile division, where she remained until August 2017. At the time of BA Summit 2018, Jenni was a Business Analyst at Three6Five Technologies — a role where her magic and passion was once again reignited.

Jenni describes being a Business Analyst as like having puzzle pieces in front of you without knowing what the end picture will look like: although it takes a lot of patience, practice and thinking outside the box, in the end you realize that the picture could be whatever you want it to be. At BA Summit 2018, she presented “Business Analyst Internet of Things”, giving an overview of how Business Analysts fit within the IoT space and sharing her experiences working on IoT-related projects.
