Deborah has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. She is a very dedicated professional who excels under pressure and has been intimately involved in all aspects of the project development life cycle, from both a technical and business perspective. She sees the implementation of each solution as a challenge and thrives on setting direction and innovating the business.

Over the past few years she has performed various roles, ranging from process engineer, project manager, and test manager, to the more recent BA manager and robotics product owner. Change and exploring new challenges are a key focus area.

She has a BCom Honours in Information Systems as well as a BA in Religious Studies and African Politics. She is also a keen powerlifter and holds a black belt in karate. Eclectic interests and hobbies drive Deborah, including a love of travel and a vast collection of dogs. At BA Summit 2018, she presented “Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and the BA response”, exploring how Business Analysts need to adapt their skills for the RPA era.
