Daniela Bramwell is a business analyst who presented a lightning talk at BA Summit 2018 titled “Making It Work.” Her talk explored a common phenomenon on projects: something is not working — be it a tool, a process, or a general way of working — yet business refuses to stop and look at what is hampering progress, instead pushing for more resources to make whatever is not working, work.

Daniela shared insights into the motivations behind this behaviour and what business analysts on the project can do in order to address it constructively. Her talk was part of the “Conversations around the Business Analysis Skillset” lightning session at BA Summit 2018.
