Atenkosi Ngubevana is a digitisation program manager who has managed projects in multiple regions including EMEA, APAC and LATAM. She has worked with a wide range of technologies including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotics Process Automation (RPA).

She recently completed her MBA core subjects at Wits, with a research thesis focused on the impact of Robotics Process Automation on unemployment levels in South Africa. In addition to this, Atenkosi is the founder of a Non-Profit Organisation called Geek_in_U that teaches young kids how to code and build robots, equipping them with skills to thrive in the 4th Industrial Revolution.

At BA Summit 2018, Atenkosi presented “The Role of BAs in the Implementation of Robotics Process Automation”, arguing that Business Analysts already have the skill set to efficiently implement RPA and highlighting the pivotal role they play in successful digitisation projects.
