Keynote: Beyond Requirements – The Augmented Analyst in an AI-First Enterprise

16h00 - 17h00 Gift Lubele / Founder at Auraa.Africa
Gift Lubele - Business Analysis Summit 2026 keynote speaker

AI is accelerating the parts of Business Analysis that were once time‑consuming: first‑draft process maps, BRD shells, tidy user stories, and workshop summaries. What it cannot accelerate is judgment. As African enterprises adopt AI and begin experimenting with agentic systems, the BA’s role shifts from documenting requirements to shaping decisions, governing autonomy, and ensuring outcomes align with business reality.

This session explores how AI-fluent analysts amplify impact by combining domain expertise with model‑assisted synthesis. Delegates will learn how to frame problems so AI produces meaningful outputs, validate those outputs against organisational truth, and design decision architectures that define when AI can act, when humans must intervene, and how accountability is maintained.

Using contrast cases—anti‑patterns already emerging in industry and patterns that work—the talk gives attendees a shared language for what “good AI BA practice” looks like. From outcome‑first analysis to proportional governance for autonomous agents, the focus stays grounded in African enterprise realities: complex stakeholders, regulated environments, and high‑stakes decisions.

The future BA is not a better documenter. The future BA is an augmented analyst and agent architect who shapes problems, governs systems, and owns outcomes.
