Itu Matshediso is a seasoned Business Analyst with experience spanning across different industries namely Higher Education, Banking and Financilal Services as well as Software Development. He is currently employed as a Business Analyst at the Government Employees Medical Scheme (GEMS). Itu is an well versed in the analysis space as he has seen many business projects end to end, from strategic formulation, business analysis, implementation, measurement and business optimisation. In his current role, Itu is entrusted with aligning strategic business objectives with project outcomes as a means to deliver optimal performance and value to all stakeholders. Key to his role is the overseeing the implementation of the customised GEMS Portfolio Management Framework.

During his time at the University of Pretoria – Enterprises, he championed business and competitive intelligence initiatives to spur growth and innovation. Initiating projects to tackle organisational challenges, he takes a proactive approach to driving change. Collaborating closely with project managers, he provides strategic insights that support successful initiatives such as the Ready to Work program for university students entering the corporate world and Digital Transformation initiatives for public organizations and departments.
