About the 2025 Conference

The 13th Edition — Built to Last

The 13th Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa brought together over 36 speakers and hundreds of delegates at the Hilton Sandton, Johannesburg, from 3–5 November 2025. Under the theme Resilience, the conference explored how business analysts can adapt to constant disruption, lead through uncertainty, and leverage emerging technologies — including artificial intelligence — to deliver lasting business value.

The pre-conference day (3 November) featured five dedicated workshops: a full-day IIBA Foundation certification programme through Business Change Academy, and four half-day workshops covering consulting mindset, business architecture, facilitation, and personal resilience. The main conference programme (4–5 November) ran three parallel tracks across 20+ sessions, with three headline keynotes and a closing executive panel discussion.

The conference was organised by IIBA Southern Africa, the official regional chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis.
