About the 2020 Conference
When Business Was Interrupted
The 2020 Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa was held as a fully virtual conference — the first in the summit’s history to take place entirely online, following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic which prevented in-person gatherings worldwide.
Under the theme Business Interrupted: What’s Next?, the conference asked a question that was on every business analyst’s mind: with organisations forced to adapt overnight to remote work, digital delivery, and rapidly shifting priorities, what does the future hold for the BA profession? The summit brought together the community virtually to share insights, experiences, and strategies for navigating an unprecedented period of disruption.
The event was organised by IIBA Southern Africa, the official regional chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis.
