About the 2022 Conference
The 10th Edition — Back in Person
After two years of virtual-only gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa marked a historic milestone — the 10th edition of Southern Africa’s premier BA conference, and the first large-scale physical event for the community post-lockdown.
Under the theme Thriving in the Next Normal, the conference brought together over 35 speakers and hundreds of delegates at the Hilton Sandton, Johannesburg, from 3–5 October 2022. The programme explored how business analysts can not only survive but thrive in a transformed post-COVID landscape — adapting skills, aligning with organisational goals, and delivering real business value.
The conference was organised by IIBA Southern Africa, the official regional chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis.
