Project success relies on effective stakeholder engagement. It is critical that we plan our approach to collaborate well with our stakeholders and build productive working relationships.
Stakeholder analysis is key to analyse the mindset of our stakeholders to understand how they may view various situations, and how we can best respond to them. This workshop will explore stakeholder engagement strategies including the new ‘Stakeholder Engagement Canvas’ tool, which allows us to perform a more thoughtful and insightful level of stakeholder analysis. The canvas allows us to examine the stakeholder’s needs and attitudes in depth to better plan and monitor the engagement process. Kathy will present how to use this canvas to cultivate successful stakeholder engagement.
Key Takeaways
- Appreciate the importance of stakeholder engagement for successful projects and business analysis
- Understand factors that help build effective stakeholder engagement, as well as common problems to avoid
- Use the stakeholder engagement canvas to plan, monitor and review stakeholder engagement
