The proverbial glass ceiling has been given a face-lift, leaving women in leadership, especially in IT, facing exclusionary practices. Furthermore, a lack of female role models at senior levels can be a limiting factor.
Adding complexity to these issues is imposter syndrome, where women may feel inadequately qualified when compared to their male colleagues and feel the constant need to prove their competence in the workplace.
