“He who asks a question remains a fool for 5 minutes, he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever!” Taken from a Chinese proverb and do not let this be you.
Do you have questions about certification? Do you know what IIBA® Certifications are on offer? What are the application criteria? How long should you study? How does the proctor exam format work? How much business analysis experience do you need? What is professional development? How many PDs are needed? What? When? Where? Who? How? And Why? Yes/No questions, informational questions, general questions, bring them all.
Join this session as we collectively capture your certification questions and get collaborative JIT answers from our community Teams. Questions will be sourced from all the delegates in attendance in a time-boxed brain dump process. Questions are then rapidly and randomly selected for Teams to answer. Points given for good answers, bonus points for great answers! The Teams are selected in advance, so do not worry you will not be put in the spot to answer questions in this session; and can you come up with a question that stumps the Teams?
A fast-paced method to get all your questions answered by people who have been through it before. This is all about IIBA certification, to kick start you to just “get it done”.
About the Speaker
Lucy Davies has never been accused of keeping quiet. She has always been curious and lately interested in understanding how clients can be delighted and why business does what it does. She started her career as a High School teacher, moved into COBOL programming for a few years before transitioning into business analysis. She had been doing this for the last 20 years, mostly in the financial industry.
She has her CBAP® and has hosted Certification courses and workshops over the last 10 years because she believes that reasoning from first principles breaks down studying (and problems) into the core elements that can be analysed and synthesised to produce the output of a certificate but the outcome of a prepared, relevant, valuable business analysis professional. She loves to spend time with family and friends, she enjoys walking around this beautiful country and continuously learning and living life.
