About the Speaker
Lucy is and always will be a Business Analyst at heart, regardless of her employment position title. She has 20 years of BA experience in the construction and finance industries. In the last few years, she has been a Product Owner on a CRM system for Commercial Banking and moving into the Integration Specialist role.
She started her career as a high school teacher, moved into COBOL programming, and then found the BA role a much better fit. Lucy is a CBAP™, has the IIBA Certificate in Cybersecurity Analysis (CCA) and IIBA Certificate in Product Ownership Analysis (CPOA). She has also completed Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE v5) courses (with exams) covering Implementing SAFe®, Leading SAFe® , SAFe® for Teams and SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager.
Lucy held various positions with IIBA over the last 16 years; she was involved in the starting of IIBA South Africa 16 years ago, IIBA-SA president in 2018-2019 and is currently the Regional Deputy Director for Africa on the IIBA Global Chapter Council.
Since 2015, Lucy has facilitated the FTI CBAP Certification Prep course, a bootcamp that covers BABOK in 4 days to prepare for IIBA Core’s CBAP Certification.
