A digital twin is a replica of a business process that not only enables the analysis of the current performance of the process but also helps reimagine how the process will perform in changing circumstances. Once a digital twin is built, it can be used throughout the lifecycle of the process to optimise the process by exploring hypotheses and identifying improvement opportunities. The presentation will cover:
- What is a digital twin?
- Examples of digital twins Building a process model for simulation using Business Process Model and Notation 2.0 (BPMN)
- Evolving the simulation model into a digital twin A case example and live demonstration.
